1. What HoopVantage is

HoopVantage is a free NBA statistics and projections website. Projections, win probabilities and ratings are statistical estimates provided for entertainment, education and analysis.

2. No guarantees

Projections are uncertain by nature. We publish our measured accuracy on the Backtest and Track Record pages, but past accuracy does not guarantee future results, and nothing on the site guarantees any outcome. Do not rely on HoopVantage for financial or other consequential decisions.

3. Data

Statistics are derived from public and open-source sources listed on the Data Sources page. We try to keep them accurate but make no warranty that they are complete or error-free.

4. Accounts

Some features (such as alerts) need a free account. Keep your credentials private; you are responsible for activity on your account.

5. Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it, attempt to access other users' data, or misrepresent HoopVantage content as your own.

6. Advertising

HoopVantage is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are labelled "Advertisement".

7. Independence

HoopVantage is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA, its teams or players. Team names and logos belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
