Net rating is how many points better than an average FBS team a side would be on a neutral field: its opponent-adjusted scoring minus what it allows. Offense and defense columns are ranks (1 = best). These are not polls — a team with a gaudy record against a soft schedule can sit well below a two-loss team that played a brutal one.
